The Kokeshi Bento Series is one of our favorite styles of bento box, and a long time Bento&co bestseller. They're carefully made and painted by hand in Japan, and are modeled after traditional Japanese Kokeshi Dolls.

Quick shipping considering it was an international purchase and had to go through customs. Items were packaged meticulously. Haven’t tried anything as they are Christmas gifts, but I love that everything is made in Japan. The big kokeshi bento box is so cute and I can’t wait for my daughter to see it! We loved our trip to Japan and I’m excited for the kids to get their gifts and hopefully think back on their time in Japan. Thank you Bento&Co!

It's so cute! :D I asked for this as one of my Christmas gifts so I've had it for a while now!! It's really cute and I love the details a lot, although I was a bit careless and put the bowl top in my dishwasher so now my cat bento doesn't have any ears (ToT) That aside, it's an awesome bento so if you're looking for something cute to spice up your lunch routine, I think that this would be a great bento to get :3
Actual life changer. Have ADHD? Struggle with executive function? Nothing more motivating than a super easily broken up, quick to make lunchbox. Seriously, this has changed my life as an adult. I do not forget lunch, am still powered up for the rest of the day, and the portion sizing is perfect (nothing over or underwhelming).
This little guy is so cute! The paint on the bento is high quality, as is the material it’s made of. It’s a great size for adult portions and well made. Tempted to buy the black cat version too!

Cute and Practical This bento is so cute, and the compartments hold just the right amount of food for an adult lunch. I make sure to wash mine by hand because I don't want to risk messing up the design, but I think it's dishwasher safe regardless.
Love it Super cute bento and absolutely massive. Enough for a full day at school. Looking forward to using it in the new school year. I haven't been able to check the seals of the lids, but it all seems to work together well and I like the little gel pack.

Cute cat Cute bento, well-made. A little smaller than I expected. The top bowl is just a bowl, it's not practical to keep anything inside it in transport.
Big Kokeshi Neko - I love it! The best lunch box I've ever had! Only thing that I'd recommend is to wash Kokeshi boxes manually. Everything depends on your washing machine, but, personally, I'm a bit scared of destroying these beautiful kitty-patterns. A big sized kokeshi bento box is enough to make an adult person stuffed with delicious food and put you into food coma :) I like to eat a lot, so for me it's just a pleasure to empty my bento box (I always have a full course with miso soup, rice and sides, yummy!). But if you don't like big portions, I think the standard sized Kokeshi box would be enough for you :) My own bento lunch brightens my and my boyfriend's day (I have a white Neko, boyfriend has a black one), so if you're not sure if you want to buy it, you shouldn't be :)

Very Cute and Spacious! I bought this as a gift for my cousin and it is very spacious. The design is very cute and she loves it so much. She eats a lot (she has out eaten adults) and this bento had enough room to fill her up! However, I would recommend buying the instant soup packages and bringing a thermos because the top compartment should not hold food. The rest of the bento is almost completely leak proof, but the bowl/lid is not meant for holding food, we made that mistake the first time. Overall, this bento is a great investment and very practical, though it is on the large side.
Works very well Box is spacious, the garter holds the box together very well when used correctly.
Kawaii and Useful Great for Ramen or curry. Love the design. It's very functional. Makes a great gift for Japanese lovers.
