These Terms of Service are governed by Japanese law. Placing an order on our site constitutes your express acceptance of these Terms.
I. Products
Products offered on the site are available while supplies last. If an item is unavailable after your order, we will notify you by email. If no equivalent item is available, the order will be cancelled and refunded.
If a delivered product does not conform to its description, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can provide an appropriate solution.
II. Orders
Any order confirmed on the site constitutes acceptance of these Terms. An automatic confirmation email is sent after successful payment.
Bento&co reserves the right to refuse an order in case of a prior dispute or payment incident.
III. Prices & Payments
Unless otherwise stated, prices on this English store are shown in US Dollars (USD), exclusive of taxes. Shipping fees are calculated and displayed before you confirm payment. Local currency displays, if shown, are for convenience only.
Payments are processed securely by our payment providers (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal). Bento&co does not store full credit card data.
Duties & taxes: Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees may apply depending on the destination country. These charges are the customer’s responsibility.
For orders shipped to the United States, prices shown at checkout include all applicable import duties and tariffs (Delivered Duty Paid – DDP). The total paid at checkout is final, and no additional fees will be charged upon delivery by the carrier.
IV. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are typically prepared within 1–4 business days after payment, then handed to the selected carrier.
Delivery times vary by carrier and destination. A shipment confirmation with tracking is emailed once the parcel leaves our facility.
If your parcel has not arrived after 45 days (standard shipping through Japan Post) or 15 days (Express Shipping), please contact us at contact@bentoandco.com.
If a parcel is returned to Japan due to an incorrect/incomplete address, a missed pickup window, or recipient refusal, re-shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once shipped, except in cases where the package is lost or damaged by the carrier. Returns and refunds are also not available for orders charged with customs duties or import taxes, as these fees are explained before checkout and are the customer’s responsibility.
V. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
You have 7 days from delivery to request a return or exchange.
- Items must be new, unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging.
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless we made an error or the item is defective.
- To start a return, email contact@bentoandco.com with your order number and reason.
- Orders may be cancelled before shipment only. Once shipped, the order cannot be cancelled.
