I am a bit of a fanatic for the Japanese culture. I have always wanted to have had bentos in the past, but not from Japan. When I came across your site, and saw the unique bentos you sold, I knew I had to have one. I had a hard time deciding between the shinobi and samurai versions (honestly, I'm probably going to get the samurai bento as well). My shinobi bento is perfect for my needs, big enough for a hearty lunch but small enough to be portable (love my furoshiki as well, BTW). I have had everyone comment positively on the bento at work, and I always tell them where I got it. Hopefully, they will get one from you as well. Thanks for put out such a high quality product, I know I'll use it for a long time to come.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.7 / 5 from 6 reviews.
My son picked out this bento box on a recent trip to Kyoto. At his school they promote litterless lunches and this is the perfect box for his fruit and snacks to accompany his sandwiches (stored in a separate box. It took a few tries to put the band back on but he’s got the hang of it now! It’s a great souvenir we brought back from Japan that has been used repeatedly.
Perfect for a boys day gift.
Very durable item and fun to store food in and enjoy.
Love it!
I have a handful of bento boxes that I use for my little one. This one is the hardest to make lunches for, and only holds a smaller volume of food. The top section is a weird shape that I have to cater for if I want to fill it up. The bottom section has no separate cover of its own, so if the band comes off for some reason, the contents will spill out. This wouldn't be a big issue, except that my son doesn't put the band back on once he has eaten (it's a bit tricky to do), so if he doesn't eat all of his food, the food is totally exposed in his lunch bag. Cute bento, but it has its quirks
