The Take Bako Bento Box | Natural Band is a distinctly Japanese bento box made entirely of take (pronounced ta-keh) Japanese bamboo. Handmade by the artisans of a local Kyoto shop that has been producing bamboo crafts since 1898. The characteristic Kyoto-ite attention to detail is reflected in this premium bento box!

Also available with a red band, and black band.

To keep the box in tip-top condition and to transport, consider using with one of our furoshiki cloths.

Details & Care
  • Dimensions: 15 cm long x 10.5 cm wide x 10.5 cm high (5.9" x 4.1" x 4.1"). 
  • Capacity: 700ml, each compartment has a capacity of 350ml.
  • NOT microwave, oven safe or dishwasher safe. 
  • Made from sustainably sourced bamboo (coated with a thin layer of protective urethane).
  • After use, wash with a soft sponge and mild dish detergent. Dry immediately with a soft cloth and leave to air dry before storing. If the box shows any signs of mold, leave to dry out in the sun and then buff carefully with a soft cloth.
