Season ingredients with salt and pepper.
Cover in flour, then dip in beaten egg  and finally dip in panko, covering thoroughly.  Fry in oil (heated to 170-180° celsius, 338-356° fahrenheit) until golden brown.

Microwave without saran wrap.
Lay on paper towels for one minute after microwaving to absorb some oil to improve crispness.
