A masterpiece of one of our favorite Japanese craftsmen Mr. Hasehira, the Miyama Octagonal Bento 391 | Tamo is a large octagonal bento showcasing the natural beauty of Japanese Ash.

Tamo is a prized material traditionally used for high-end furniture, luxury veneers, fine musical instruments like guitars, and celebrated for its durability and rich texture. This ash, naturally dried over 5 years, has a striking, wavy grain pattern, which is why it is often called “watered silk”.

Preserved in a rustic condition to showcase the wood's unique personality.

The Story

HASEHIRA-SAMA

We are incredibly honored to exclusively sell these limited-edition pieces, which Mr. Hasehira continues to meticulously hand-make for our shop.
