A masterpiece of one of our favorite Japanese craftsmen Mr. Hasehira, the Miyama Octagonal Bento 391 | Sugi is a large octagonal bento showcasing the natural beauty of Sugi (Japanese Cedar).
This Sugi, naturally dried over 5 years, is fragrant, water and insect resistant. Its warm, soft tones and aromatic properties make it ideal for crafting elegant yet durable items, from furniture to bento boxes.
Preserved in a rustic condition to showcase the wood's unique personality.

The Story
HASEHIRA-SAMA
It all started when Miyama woodworker Mr. Hasehira saw us on national TV and felt inspired to create his own line of bento boxes! When we saw the results of his efforts, we were absolutely delighted. We are incredibly honored to exclusively sell these limited-edition pieces, which Mr. Hasehira continues to meticulously hand-make for our shop.
