Tochi is very rare and used in traditional Japanese furniture, as well as in Japanese temples and shrines, and even traditional instruments like taiko drums.

The Story
HASEHIRA-SAMA
It all started when Miyama woodworker Mr. Hasehira saw us on national TV and felt inspired to create his own line of bento boxes! When we saw the results of his efforts, we were absolutely delighted. We are incredibly honored to exclusively sell these limited-edition pieces, which Mr. Hasehira continues to meticulously hand-make for our shop.
