On one side are white sakura cherry blossom, vivid against the navy background. Turn the furoshiki over, and the other side features an asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern in white over a red background. Hemp leaves were grown in Japan for thousands of years to make textiles and is a motif believed to bring health and good fortune.
