The Cats Showing The Fifty Three Stations of the Tokaido is a masterpiece by feline-loving Ukiyoe-artist, Kuniyoshi, and is actually a playful spoof of Hiroshige's The Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido.

What We Love About It:

  • The composition showcases fifty five cats engaging in a variety of activities, and uses Japanese world play to liken each cat to names of stations along the Tokaido- one of five major routes that connected Tokyo to outer provinces during Japan's Edo period. Clever AND cute! A must for cat-lovers.
  • Size works well to wrap small and medium bento boxes, and most of our large boxes.
  • Also great as a wall hanging or table setting.
