Made from finely crushed red shiso (perilla) leaves blended with salt, this classic seasoning adds a refreshing balance of tartness and savoriness to rice, noodles, or salads. Its vivid purple hue and bright aroma make every bowl of rice instantly more appetizing.
Simply sprinkle one or two tablespoons over freshly cooked rice or use it to flavor onigiri (rice balls). You can also add it to pasta, tofu, or even popcorn for a Japanese twist.

As our products are shipped from Japan they may be subject to taxes and to customs fees in the country of delivery. These costs are the customer’s responsibility.
For our customers in the USA:
All packages will be subject to tariffs upon import at minimum 15%. Payment of this fees is compulsory; they will be billed to you by the carrier. Please get in touch with your local customs to know more.

Bento&co is registered in the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS). As such, VAT is included in product pricing. Bento&co pays VAT fees directly to the authorities.
Orders with a total value less than €150 euros (excluding shipping fees) have duties added at checkout. You will therefore not have any additional costs to pay in order to receive your package.
