Product details

Bamboo is beautiful, durable and also grows very fast. It's an ideal material for quality bento boxes that are natural and environmentally friendly. Bento&co is proud to present the Take Bako, a gorgeous box made entirely of bamboo.

Size M.

Presentation

The Take Bako is a beautiful traditional bento box, made of bamboo (take (pronounced ta-KEH) in Japanese) by a company of artisans who have been in business in Kyoto since 1898. The highest quality demanded by finicky Kyoto-ites is reflected in every detail of the box.

With the Take Bako you can transport your lunch in true style. To carry the box along in tiptop condition, consider using one of our furoshiki cloths.

Attention is paid to the smallest detail; even the elastic band that holds the box closed has a small, carved bamboo decoration, in black or red. Please choose your favorite from the pulldown menu when ordering.

The My Hashi Take set is the perfect chopstick set to go with your Take Bako.

Features

The Take Bako is a two-tier stacking bento box with a lid. A maroon colored elastic bento band with a decorative bamboo element in black or red is included. It comes packaged in a beautiful presentation box.

Dimensions: 15 cm long x 10.5 cm wide x 10.5 cm high (5.9" x 4.1" x 4.1").

Each compartment has a capacity of 350ml, for a total of 700ml.

Please note that this box is not microwave safe. Keep away from open flames or heating elements. To clean this box, wipe clean with a  soft damp cloth, then dry off immediately. Leave to air-dry completely before storing. If the box shows any signs of mold, leave to dry out in the sun and then buff carefully with a soft cloth.

Since bamboo is a natural material, no two boxes are alike.

Made in Japan.
