Make Perfect Pressed Sushi at Home with the Hinoki Sushi Mold

The Hinoki Sushi Mold is an elegant and practical tool for creating oshizushi (pressed sushi) with ease and precision. Made from solid Hinoki cedar wood, this mold not only adds a touch of natural beauty to your kitchen but also enhances your sushi-making experience with its light, aromatic fragrance.

Handcrafted in Mie, Japan, this mold is designed for simplicity and efficiency. Its sturdy build ensures evenly pressed sushi every time, whether you’re making traditional layered sushi or experimenting with your own creations. Perfect for sushi enthusiasts or anyone looking to bring Japanese cuisine to their home.

How to use

  • Place the mold on top of the bottom board.
  • Line the mold with plastic wrap, fill with sushi rice and top with thin slices of raw fish, smoked salmon, thinly sliced vegetables, or whatever you prefer.
  • Wrap the plastic over the top of the rice and toppings and push down gently with the top lid.
  • Slice the sushi where the grooves are- right through the plastic wrap.
  • Voilà- perfectly portioned sushi!
