Enjoy the traditional Japanese motif of the Nami Chidori and add elegance to your everyday life, as well as special touch when gift-giving.
Made in Japan

What We Love About It:

  • Traditional design of "Nami Chidori", featuring two plovers flying over ocean waves. Symbolizing a wish to "overcome rough seas together", this is an auspicious pattern that represents marital happiness and family safety.
  • In a play on words,  "Chidori" can be written with the characters for "thousand" and "take", together meaning "taking a thousand blessings", reflecting a wish for victory and achieving goals.
  • Lucky "kohaku" color combination of red and white, used on special occasions in Japan, with a soft pearly finish.
  • Small plovers flying around the large plover are strategically placed to appear when wrapped.
  • Lightweight cotton is easy to wrap and tie — perfect as a bag and for gift-wrapping!
  • Generous size makes it perfect to carry a picnic sized bento, wrap an elegant gift, complete a table setting, use as a bag and more!
