Lost the elastic band that came with your bento box? Or maybe you want to change the style of your bento without getting a new box? Lunch Belts to the rescue! Both fashionable and practical, have fun pairing them with your favorite bento box!
The Daruma Lunch Belt Musubi showcases red and white daruma dolls on a navy background. The eye catching pattern will stand out no matter which bento box you pair this band with!
Daruma are small round Japanese wooden dolls. They are usually red and generally emulated a bearded man with stern eyes, as they are modeled after the founder of Zen Buddhism, Bodhidharma. The dolls are sometimes purchased with blank eyes, as the user is to wish for something, color in one eye, and then color in the second eye once the wish comes true. Thus, daruma are seen as a symbol of good luck, and are often gifted to students before exams.
Made out of nylon and synthetic rubber, this bento band will stretch to fit around most of our M and L size boxes (up to 1L).
