This beautiful Seto-yaki small plate set from the Edo Era is in the Nishiki, or “brocade”-style of porcelain, characterized by the use of many colors of paint over the white glaze. Features glimpses of a Noh theatre, peony flower and the asanoha (hemp leaf) motif that symbolizes good luck and fortune.

Use to serve sauce, single serving of chocolate/baked goods, or to hold jewelry and other precious small items.
