This beautiful Imari-yaki plate from the Edo Era is in the Nishiki, or “brocade”-style of porcelain, characterized by the use of many colors of paint over the white glaze. Features breathtaking hand-painted designs in red, and gold, in addition to the classic blue.


Featured is an idyllic scene with mountains emerging from the mist and birds flying overhead. 

Large enough to use as a dinner plate or to display as a striking ornamental piece.
