Furoshiki are traditional Japanese wrapping cloths. They can be used in many ways: to carry and protect your bento, make an impromptu bag, or use as reusable gift wrapping. Furoshiki have been making a comeback in Japan in recent years, as they provide an elegant and eco-friendly way to accessorize or give gifts.
The Furoshiki Sugi is a traditional bento wrapping cloth with a chic Japanese cedar tree (sugi) pattern. The cloth is a 48 cm square and comes in two color combinations: Red & Blue and Pine Blue & Brown. The fabric has a texture that is consistent with traditional woven Japanese cloth. Each furoshiki is reversible and can be folded in various ways to expose the top or underside of the cloth.
