Job Title: Customer Support and Digital Marketing Specialist
Location: Kyoto, Japan (Remote + In-office)
Salary: 3M+ / 4M+ (based on experience and position)
Visa Sponsorship: Available for candidates already in Japan
About us: Based in central Kyoto, we've been selling bento boxes at our brick and mortar shop (Japan’s first specialty bento box shop) and online for over 10 years. Working with artisans, small makers and trusted manufacturers here in Japan, we’re proud to globally promote Japanese bento and food culture. With a French CEO and multicultural team (5 languages spoken among us!), we value diversity and of course, passion for food!
Job Description: We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Support and Digital Marketing Specialist. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and executing successful marketing campaigns across various digital channels.
Responsibilities: Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues via email and live chat. Planning and implementing marketing campaigns on social media, email, and other digital channels using platforms including Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Analyzing customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements: Native level English. Proficiency in Japanese. French writing skills are a plus! Experience in customer support and/or online marketing. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making. Knowledge of ecommerce platforms, email marketing, and social media tools.
