Shikiri Modern Plus Bento Box | 870ml

This Bento is so well made, designed and well thought out. You can even put hard boiled eggs in it if you take out an internal compartment. It helps to make everything pretty and appealing. My boyfriend's colleagues are super impressed by the chopsticks.

Perfect size I have a bit of a larger appetite than the average Japanese girl and I find the medium sized boxes all a bit small. When I use this box for lunch it's the perfect amount of food.

Very good, very satisfied The product is just what I wanted. I appreciate that the box is not too thick, it makes it easy to transport. I also appreciate the numerous compartments, it makes for a good looking lunch. As I am westerner I hope that one day this box will come with a small spoon in the place of chopsticks :) Thank you for a nice product.

GREAT lunch box! Not only is this bento box lovely to look at but it keeps the food perfectly separated and is easy to clean up. Also I love that it has chopstick storage at the top so you never need to remember to bring them and it is so versatile! you can remove some of the smaller boxes if you want more of a certain item. LOVE IT!!!

Very spacious but also a good compact design. I bought this bento to use for my husband lunches, and it has worked out great! It is good size for the amount of food that I prepare for him. It also has a great seal so that slightly liquid foods (like curry) do not spill if it tipped, very easy to clean. He has also received many compliments from his coworkers too! We are thinking of buying a second one.

Stylish workhorse of a box The Shikiri box, with its 6 compartments, is perfect for those of us who like lots of different tastes in our lunch but don't want to have to wash a bunch of little silicon cups. Even the tiniest compartments hold more than one would think at first glance. I have a few dozen bento boxes, but the Shikiri is my go-to box unless I want either a big salad or something hot for lunch.

shikiri bento i really like the shikiri bento. its good size and very practical. it was received from post office in good condition. it was packaged good. it didnt have any shipping cost cause i ordered other bentobox that passed the amount required for free shipping. i will definitely order again from bento&co. i like the free shipping requirement

Fantastic Bento lunchbox This is a great lunchbox! I take it to work and the beach and it's perfect for some quiet, beautifully set out meals. It doesn't look big, but trust me, if you pack this with some tasty morsels it hits the spot perfectly. It's really well made and thought out in it's design. If you're into mindful eating, then this is great.

Not bad After owning several bento boxes I would say this one is not bad. I don't use the inserts at all, only the divider which fits only in the center of the box since it is slightly rounded. I feel like the quality of the plastic snaps is acceptable but not extrodinary, I wonder how long they'll last... For the price it's a nice little box.

Best by Far I love how this bento is designed especially with the dividers and the various ways I can use them. An it has just the right amount of space, making it simply perfect.

Truly Perfect for Organization I got the older, smaller, white version of the Shikiri Bento, and I love it. The dividers are perfect for filling with a variety of foods, and even then, you can always go without any of the dividers and prepare a lunch more adventurously. My box is 550 mL, and I really do wish that there had been a bigger size available when I got it. 870 mL is ample size, although I do not really understand the lid of this newer version. In the end, I recommend this box if you like organization and not having to mess with baran or the like.

Really is the ideal bento! I LOVE this bento box (got the 550ml version)! For me, it is the perfect size, I always have the chopsticks with me this way and lots of small cups to fill with different food. It is certainly leakproof and became instantly my favourite bento box. I'd higly recomend this to anyone! But if you are a bigger eater will you probably need a side container with something more, along this =)

Excellent This bento box is just perfect for me - the sectioned boxes keep all the bits of food separate, and also offer great versatility without needing to mess around with baran and other dividers - great first thing in the morning when I don't have much time. I have the 550ml box which leaves me comfortably full at the end of lunchtime (when I first got it I thought it might be too small - but not at all!). The snap fastening of the box is very secure, and there would be enough space between the inner and outer lid for a mini ice pack if you wanted to keep your lunch cool. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a medium appetite - if you are a really hungry person it might not be big enough for you. I'm so happy with this purchase! ^.^

L Black Shikiri Bento There are so many things to say about my new favorite bento box. First off, the different dividers and many ways to configure this box is definitely a great selling point. I can put whatever I like in, and don't have to worry about cups or baran. The lid was a bit tricky to get it to sit right at first but I'm just used to snaps that fold down instead of up. However, I did find out that if you put any liquid in one section and jostle it around, it will leak into the others, though the box itself so far has not leaked at all. Note! The L size is pretty good if you are a hefty eater, or don't pack the box too full. I didn't realize that the L box is actually 950ml and not 850ml like it says in the drop down box. >o< The package also came with what I hope is an extra rubber seal as I haven't figured out what to do with it. I was also kind of sad it didn't have Idea box logo on it but its a sturdy lunch box that has taken everything I've thrown at it so far. I think I'll be using it far into the future.
