Karaage is Japanese Fried Chicken and it is super delicious and addictive. They make great snacks and go well with just about any meal.
This pre-seasoned with garlic flour mix won the "Karaage Grand Prix" so you know its going to be tasty.
Simply mix the flour it with 100ml of water to create the batter. Dip your chicken pieces of breast or thighs (500g) into the batter and deep fry it in 170-180°C vegetable oil for 4 minutes. Remove and place it on some paper towels.
TIP: For a stronger flavor, leave the chicken in the batter for about 10minutes.
Serve with some Kewpie Mayonnaise or however you like.
