Chirashi Burger, Sushi and Maki
At Bento and Co we love to be inspired by people’s cooking and we are always on the hunt for enchanting home chefs to give us new ideas. Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ
Today we want to introduce one of our favorite food bloggers, Eva at Un petit oiseau dans la cuisine (a little bird in the kitchen) that we recently partnered with, and one of her latest and greatest creations. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و
Eva and the blog are committed to healthy food - perfect match with Japanese cuisine huh! (/^▽^)/
For this creation she takes influences from sushi to create a tower of flavour in the shape of a hamburger - making a unhealthy stalemate healthy with Japanese tricks!
She might say that she is a small bird - but the things she create are far from minimal - impressive right? (*^▽^*)
To create this piece, prepare by cutting raw salmon and avocado into cubes and slices, grate cucumber and carrots - and most importantly - cook your sushi rice and mix with vinegar ( ˘▽˘)っ.
Assemble your burger with a pastry circle, starting with a rice layer and then alternating levels of salmon, avocado and grated vegetables, top it all of with a final layer of rice to create the burger effect. Sprinkle sesame and poppy seeds on top, add chopped chives and voila - your master piece is done! (•́⌄•́๑)૭✧
Eva uses our spacious Picnic Bento Box to showcase these delicious (and healthy!) sushi burgers.
