The WanWan is traditionally Japanese yet cute, round and compact. It is great for people who crave soup for lunch. Available in two designs - Sanpo Usagi, which features a design of bunnies cavorting on a polished red lacquer-look surface, and Mokume, with bunnies on a restrained dark brown woodgrain finish. Please choose your favorite from the pulldown menu when ordering.

Product Description

Wan (椀）is the Japanese word for a bowl, traditionally made from turned wood, that is used for soup. The WanWan box simulates the look of turned wood and lacquerware in high quality plastic. It consists of a three compartments: a lower bowl, perfect for holding rice; a middle compartment with with a flexible leak-resistant lid for your 'okazu' or side dishes, and an upper bowl that doubles as a lid, and can be used for instant soup.

A packet of instant miso soup is included with every WanWan order! You can use the bowl for Western style instant soup too.

An elastic bento band to hold everything together is included.

Features

Total capacity: 500ml (the middle, sealed compartment has a capacity of 190ml, and the bowls have a total capacity of 310ml).

Dimensions: 11cm (4.3") diameter, 10cm (3.9") high.

Composition and Care

The bowls and middle compartment are made of PET-ABS (safe temperature range: -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F) for both). The inner flexible lid is made of polyethylene (safe temperature range: -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F)).

The bowls and middle compartment are microwave and dishwasher safe with the inner flexible lid removed.

Note: the bowl is not leakproof, so don't carry soup in it! Carry a packet of instant soup with you, and add hot water when ready to eat.
