The Sushi Bar Set is a must-have for elegant sushi meals at home.
The Sushi Bar Set consists of three components: a solid wood plank made out of a beautiful piece of pale wood. It is grooved to hold a pair of black chopsticks that are as well as a white ceramic plate for your soy sauce.
You can buy one or 4 sets for your home party! Don't forget to get a Sushi Mold and a Sushi Roller too!
Composition, dimensions and care
- Wood plank: Hinoki (Japanese cedar, a wood with natural antimicrobial qualities), 28 × 16 × 2.7 cm (11" x 6.3" x 1")
- Chopsticks: Black resin, 22 cm (8.67") long
- Soy sauce dish: White ceramic, 8.6 cm ( 3.39") diameter
Hand wash only. Do not leave the plank soaking in water for too long. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after washing. Please don't use this as a cutting board for your bread, or you will damage the surface!
A little about hinoki wood
Hinoki is a type of Japanese cedar wood. It is known to have natural antimicrobial qualities. It also absorbs excess moisture from food, making it taste better. Hinoki is used extensively for food containers, bento boxes (see our Magewappa bento boxes), and even traditional bathtubs.
Made in Japan, in Mie prefecture.
