In Japan, Sakura (cherry blossoms) are a symbol of the Spring, a time of renewal and happiness. We are happy to introduce these gorgeous sakura bento boxes set. They are sure to delight lovers of Japanese traditional design.
Presentation
The Sakura 2012 set consists in two different boxes for two different uses : Hanami & Long. All decorated with a delicate pattern of sakura and gold dust. The use of gold dust is a traditional decoration in lacquerware, and although these boxes are made of plastic, the look is luxurious and beautiful.

-Sakura Hanami box
This 2-tier square box has a big capacity. Each container comes with an hermetic transparent lid. In Japan, Hanami (watching flowers) consists mainly in great picnics with friends or family under sakura trees. We couldn't pick a better name for it!
Size L.
This box doesn't come with a lunch band. We advice you to use a 50cm or 70cm square furoshiki or a 42cm long lunch band to carry it.
-Sakura Long
This 2-tier elongated box comes with 2 inner lids that are made of silicone rather than the usual polyethelene. This means that you can put these boxes in the microwave with the inner lids on.

Care
Sakura Long's containers and inner lids are microwave and dishwasher safe, with the outer lid removed (illsutrated).
(Use only for heating up food, say for 2 minutes at 700 watts, not for long-duration cooking!)
Sakura Hanami's containers are not microwave or dishwasher safe.
