The Poka Poka Thermos Set is the ideal lunch solution for people with hearty appetites, who don't have access to a microwave at work or school, but still want a hot meal from home.

Size M or L.

The Poka Poka Thermos set includes all you will need for bringing your lunch along:

- 2 small containers with watertight lids

- 1 stainless steel Thermos container

- a pair of chopsticks with case

- a stylish carrying bag, suitable for use by a man or woman

The Thermos container, properly prepared (see below) can keep food hot for up to 6 hours. The 2 smaller containers are meant to be used for side dishes that don't need to be kept warm.

By the way, "poka poka" means "nice and warm/hot" in Japanese.

How to keep food warm in a thermal lunch box set

- Make sure that the food you want to keep warm is piping hot to begin with! The container will maintain temperature, but it won't make cold food hot!

- Only the stainless steel Thermos container can keep food warm. In Japan this container is normally used for rice, but you can fill it with stew, soup, chili or whatever you like.

- Fill the stainless steel container with boiling water (careful not to burn yourself!) when you are ready to pack your bento. Empty out the water, then put the hot rice or other food in. Close the lid securely, and place in the insulating bag. The food should stay hot (above 50 degrees C / 122 degrees F) for up to 6 hours if the bag and container are kept closed.
