Here at Bento&Co, we're all about bentos - even when they're made of modelling clay! The NenDo Bento Set is a great kit that will provide hours of fun for any future bento chef aged 3 and up. 

Features

The NenDo Bento Set contains a total of 17 parts: i

- 4 tubs of non-toxic modelling clay in white, red, yellow and blue. The clay is reusable, and can be mixed to create new colors. 

- a "recipe" book in Japanese (but easily understandable thanks to the pictures)

- A plastic plate for modeling simple shapes (star, salad leaf, rabbit, etc. ) with a small rolling pin 

- A fish-shaped "knife" for cutting the clay

- A reusable plastic 'tablecloth' or napkin 

- Two small molds : one for sausages and one for shrimp tempura

- A push mold with 3 different shapes to make 'whipped cream'  

- And of course, a bento box with a removable divider!

This adorable set is a great for real kids, or the kid inside you. Playing with clay helps to promote creativity and dexterity in small children. 

Caution 

Not recommended for very small children. The package says this kit is for children 3 years old and up. 
Do not eat or bake. Young children should have adult supervision, especially if they are liable to swallow the small parts or eat the clay. While the clay is non-toxic, it's made primarily of flour and salt, so should not be used by children who are sensitive to wheat gluten.
