Our second collection of genuine Japanese kokeshi dolls has just arrived ! 4 new styles are available. As with our first collection, all of our kokeshi dolls are made of genuine turned wood. Not only are they hand made with pride in Japan, the wood is harvested in Japan too. These are the real thing!

The second collection gives you a choice of one of the following modern-yet-traditional kokeshi dolls:

Miffy. This cute dutch rabbit has never been so japanese. 13 cm (5.1") tall

Itoshigo. A lovely little girl dressed in a red kimono with plum blossom decoration. "Itoshigo" means "precious loved child" in Japanese. What a great gift for a favorite daughter or granddaughter, or a new mom! 15,5 cm (6") tall.

Fuji San. This elegant lady is dressed in a kimono beautifully decorated with a picture of Mount Fuji and other iconic japanese symbols, such as cherry blossoms and a five-tier pagoda. 19 cm (17.5") tall.

Wakazamurai. "Waka" means young, and this young samurai warrior is small but courageous. 8 cm (3,2") tall.

These modern yet traditional kokeshi dolls are sure to bring a little piece of Japan to your home, and a welcome splash of color! They make great gifts for lovers of great Japanese design.

To take care of these kokeshi dolls, simply dust them occasionally with a soft cloth.
