Kimono Murasaki Long is a two-tier bento box, with leak-resistant inner lids for each compartment. The outer lid has an overall pattern reminiscent of traditional kimono cloth patterns, in mostly purple hues (“murasaki”, 紫). Purple is a royal color, that symbolises the Emperor of Japan and Kyoto. The patterns depicted in the pictures may vary, as the motifs are appliquéd onto the box as a small pieces of actual fabric.
The price of the box only is 1800 Yen. The set includes the box, the chopsticks with matching case, and a matching print drawstring bag. The price of the set is 3100 Yen - a great deal!

Total capacity: 510 ml (upper compartment: 210 ml, lower compartment: 300 ml).

The flexible inner lids make the compartments very leak-resistant.
A red elastic bento band is lncluded.
Length of chopsticks: 18 cm (7").
Bag measurements: 150 × 90 mm (5.9" x 3.54").
Composition and care
Box: made of polythylene terephtalate. Withstands temperatures between -20°C and 140°C (-4°F and 284°F).
Outer lid made of polyester. Withstands temperatures between -20°C and 130°C (-4°F and 266°F).
Transparent lid made of polyethylene. Withstands temperatures between -20°C and 60°C (-4°F and 140°F).
Wooden chopsticks. 100% cotton bag.
The box is microwave and dishwasher safe with both the transparent inner lid and patterned outer lid removed. The chopsticks should be hand washed.
Handwashing is recommended for the bag.
Made in Japan, in Ishikawa by Hakoya.
