Hachi Oshibori
540 JPY
The Hachi Oshibori is a little bumblebee shaped container for carrying a small, moistened towel, or oshibori (お絞り) to wipe your hands clean before and after eating lunch. A small cotton towel is included.
If you have been to a Japanese restaurant, you may have encountered oshibori already - moist towels for wiping your hands and face before you start a meal. Oshibori are really refreshing! Now you can bring your own moistened oshibori along with your bento, especially to places where you may not have a place to wash your hands before eating. Kids are more likely to wipe their hands properly when the towel container is so cute too!
The Hachi Oshibori container consists of two parts. The head pops off easily to reveal the towel inside.
Attached to the Hachi Oshibori container is a flower-shaped tag for writing your child's name on (or your name for that matter), so that it can be returned to its owner if it gets misplaced.
Hachi Oshibori is 9 cm long and 5.5 cm wide (3.54" long, 2.2" wide) and is made of ABS. Handwashing is recommended.
The towel is 100% cotton and is machine washable.
Made in China by Torune.
