Furoshiki Hokusai is a series of 3 magnificent furoshiki cloths, printed in superb quality with iconic woodblock prints from the Edo period. These furoshiki are not only great for wrapping your bento boxes in, they could be displayed as works of art! You have your choice of 3 designs:

Aka Fuji (the Red Fuji), from "36 Views of Mount Fuji", the best known collection of works by iconic woodblock artist Hokusai
Nami-ura ni Fuji, also known in English as The Great Wave Off Kanagawa, the best known work by Hokusai
Sharaku, a portait of Kabuki actor Otani Onijuin by Sharaku, another well regarded woodblock artist. This painting was profoundly influential to European artists of the19th to early 20th centuries, most notably Toulouse-Lautrec.

Composition and Care

The Furoshiki Hokusai cloths measure 68 cm (26.75") square, larger than most of our other furoshiki cloths. They are great for wrapping our long-format bento boxes such as the Nami Bento, or the round-format boxes like Owan Sakura. They're also perfect for transporting wine or sake bottles (or our bottle-shaped kitchen tool set Bin 8). What a great way to gift a a special bottle to someone!

100% rayon (artificial silk). Dry cleaning is recommended. Use a cool iron for pressing.

Made in Japan.
